I am always pulling wires and normally use my Ideal set which are 6ft sections. I lost them off the back of the truck of course so thought I would try this. The best part about this is that it is much more portable. 6ft sections were a bit long for transporting and I always had issue with rods unscrewing INSIDE the wall while trying to fish them through. With the Klein fish tape you get 20ft which is plenty for most jobs. When it isn't you can easily remove it from the case and screw additional rods onto it. It is a little more flimsy than the Ideal push rods but that hasn't been an issue for me so far. My only complaint is that both ends should have been made to be able to attach different ends. If the end breaks you are stuck buying a new fish rape because there is no replacing it unless you were to rig something up.

Seems well made. The issue is the threaded end does not pull out and reinsert. Easy fix is to remove the three screw take out the spool and re install. Glows really good.

This is a very nice fish tape. I really like the glow in the dark feature. It helps in those enclosed areas. This works as a fish tape should. Easily extended and retracted if you know how! I've already used it several times for some interesting and difficult pulls. I got it for use updating equipment in my rv, but I see applications anywhere.

Lol ok don't get me wrong this thing works like it should but it is very stubborn as a brand new unit. Maybe I'm used to the steel fish tapes, it's a pain to get it in and out but it works like it should. I'm an automotive tech, I used this to fish wires around on, in and through vehicles. Figured the flow in the dark feature couldn't hurt anything and I was glad to see it came in a such a low footage option because I didn't want to have a 200ft fish tape for a pickup truck install lol..
