Bingfu VHF UHF Ham Radio Police Scanner Antenna Amateur Radio Mobile Radio Scanner Antenna. This is a good working antenna, on a digital/analog police scanner. I'm glad I don't believe all the reviews. I purchased two of them. Mount it on either metal or use the two way tape that comes with it. It is not an outdoor antenna unless you make a mount for it.

I have a Uniden Bearcat BCD996T radio. I bought this antenna on a whim because I bought it used and it didn't come with one.
Yeah I can agree the magnet isn't not recommended to put on a car but for general surfaces I had pretty good luck with it.
That aside the performance really impressed me. Where I live Pittsburgh is pretty tough to pick up but this little antenna really made a difference. I have a baofang F8-HP that I use as a scanner and while it's scanning is not the greatest it has alot of trouble despite trying a few different antennas but this one blew me away with my uniden radio. I know it's not fair to compare the two but really good value if you need an antenna in a pinch.
I should also mention that for trunked freqs I can also say this antenna was able to pick up the signal but due to encryption I could not hear but did see decent signal reception.
The connector on the antenna was correct no adapter needed!
Hoped this review helps a few peeps out!

So, I found I needed multiple scanners and by default- multiple scanners capable of analog and digital radio reception.
I found these- bought them since they came in a pack of 2. The come with the standard female RCA - male BNC ( push then twist to lock) connector.
The magnetic mount is small and I would not use it on moving vehicles ( by itself) unless you can change to a stronger magnet.
The antenna is small but is able to handle ( reasonable) manipulation.
Reception is good, no detectable interference by using additional antennas nearby with multiple frequencies and formats being received.
The price is not bad either.
