We love these walkies. We experimented with smaller and cheaper models before finally finding these. The range is about 3 miles in our area. The Group Channel is a great feature that allows you to communicate with everyone even if they are working with someone else on a different channel. They are frequency programmable but we have not needed to do that.

The radios seem to be of sturdy construction and their customer service is very good. I purchased these radios for Church. I like how the radios look. They don't or feel like the cheap ones that you get at Walmart. And their customer service has been very good. I've received several emails from them asking me what I thought about the radios, and if I had any problems with the radios. Every time I've communicated with them they've always been respectful, professional, and very knowledgeable about the product. It seems to me like they care about their customers. I would recommend this company and their Samcom radios.
