The price is Right. It works very well, and I used to own one.
This unit requires a little more attention because it does not have an auto shutoff switch, so when you are done using it make sure to unplug it and switch it to the steamer or the coffee so it releases the pressure so there won;t be any pressure build up. So far I have not had any issues with this unit and I use it daily.

Little espresso maker last the longest!

If you want a good, solid espresso maker?. in this price range that allows you several espressos a day? After zillions of other makers (this price range) this is the ONE! It lasts it continues on & makes great espressos with steamed milk.
Only problem? And why I gave it 4 stars, not 5? The little plastic steamer part CRACKED in the first month & was unusable. I replaced it with a metal one I'd saved from another espresso maker & it's gone on every day - several times a day; quite happily.
I do not like the issue with the "overfill of water placement" but it's workable.

You need to temper your expectations & understand what you're buying

This can produce an espresso for pennies a day. That's not easy to to, & it achieves this function thru steam power, which is kind of ingenious, but it's also a one-trick pony. Make sure you understand this is pressurized steam, & if you're not careful w/it, you could get a steam burn, which is painful. The machine is a bit like a steam bomb, as it's pressing out the espresso thru steam pressure alone, so remember to always unplug it, & release the steam valve after it's cooled down a bit. I've never used the wand to foam milk, & I never would. It's silly to expect that function to work properly. This should really only be used to make espresso & just forget about cappuccino foam. The espresso isn't anything to write home about either; you'll never get a layer of crema w/this machine. It's more like express espresso, but if you have a good espresso coffee, it can really come in handy in a pinch. I have mine in my recording studio in a basement in Brooklyn & I get El Morro espresso coffee from the Dollar Store next door. It's delicious & with it I can make double shot mocha Americanos for about 30 cents a pop . I'll eventually give this away & get the Delonghi, but that's another $100-120, & this will do until then. That's what this machine is best for. Having a way to make espressos in a place that you typically wouldn't. Expecting anything beyond that will likely leave you disappointed.
Makes good espresso. Frother isn't very good
