I ordered the boots in my usual size and thought initially that they were too tight. But after one or two times wearing them they loosened up. I was able to add a Dr. Scholl insert and can wear two pair of socks if needed. I purchased them to walk the dog in wet or snowy condition and so far the boots held up. I did sWalking in wet snow the back heel might have gotten slightly wet but i am not sure if the snow came in from above or leaked through. In general the feet stayed dry and warm. Water will come in pretty quick at the tongue opening if the boot gets submerged.

Will purchase again, comfortable and true to size. I personally am a 8.5 regularly but I sized up because I prefer to wear thicker socks and these fit wonderfully but still left me with enough room for my toes. I will say that the photos give you the idea that these are going to have white on the checkered lining and the rim on the bottom, it's more of a warm cream color rather than white. Great water proof boot, not too warm but great for cold or hot weather hiking. The quality of the boot is awesome. I highly recommend to anybody who needs a durable but cute set of hiking boots. I don't have wide feet and wouldn't recommend this to someone with wide feet.

I liked my first pair so much, I bought a second pair. They are sturdy and comfortable. Perfect for walking/hiking or daily use. I used to wear Sketcher boots like these that I loved; however, at some point, Sketchers changed the design and the new design was uncomfortable on my feet. I've been looking for a few years for a replacement and went through a few pair until I found these. Very pleased with them. After reading reviews, I did as suggested and ordered a half size up. I'm usually a 6, but ordered 6.5. Glad I did! I did add after market insoles just to provide a little more support, but they fit perfectly! I highly recommend this boot if you're looking for cute and sturdy boots!

I took a trip to the U.K. at the end of November. Bought these boots for the trip and i am so thankful that i did! Did a lot of hiking and walking in Scotland, and it was snowing and icy almost every day we were there. Also lot of walking in England, which was more muddy and damp rather than icy. The boots kept my feet warm and dry in both conditions, and my feet didn't hurt after hours of walking in them. Them being cute and stylish was also a nice bonus! I thought they were sewn into the sole, but it's just glued on which i was a little skeptical about. But they held up more than fine! Highly recommend these boots for cold/damp/muddy adventures
