The glasses are not too heavy but not too light, either. A good midweight and they survived the dishwasher upon receipt. The only drawback is that they do have visible seams and there are some slight flaws in the glass so I feel they were slightly overpriced for the quality.
"Holdability" ... we needed a glass that would not "slip" out our one's hand

We like the look, feel, and "stackabity" of these glasses. I don't know if they were supposed to be able to stack; but, with a little "careful" placing one on top of another, we can stack them for best use of our cabinet.
