Great product. I really enjoy making tea with this product. The price was worth the cost of the product.
Long shelf life

I've never had bitter melon before but I found a curry recipe that called for it and I made it. It's delicious! It's unlike anything I'd had before but I'll be having it again. I also saw someone say you could make a tea with it, but the flavor was a little too strong for me.
Dried raw bitter melon slices, fresh is always better

Certainly the dried bitter slices are good and seems to be dried in raw format. Based on our first use these dried bitter melon slices are good for eating as a medicine/ snack or to even prepare curry by putting these slices in water, however, if you have access to fresh bitter melons then please use those over these dried form.

These are certainly good ones and this is coming from a bitter melon lover.

These do feel a bit costly as well.
Bitter Melon No Matter WHERE You Live

Bitter melon seems to be one of those things that you either really like, or you really dislike. Kind of like hazelnuts, you like them very much or you dislike them intensely.
Since I like better melon very much, I was looking forward to trying this product, and it does not disappoint.
Fresh bitter melon doesn't keep long, and isn't available at all in my area. Whenever I travel to a large city, I try to bring some back, but unfortunately it doesn't keep for more than a day or two. I had no idea it was available like this!
So far, I've only used it in a curry, but it definitely added that extra layer of flavor that only bitter melon can supply. This will definitely be in my pantry from now on.
Good in curries

This is a package of dehydrated bitter melon slices (with seeds). The ingredients are organic bitter melon (USDA certified). The product is non-GMO and non-irradiated. No nutrition information is listed on the label. The label suggests that a serving size is 6-10 slices. They suggest rehydrating for 15 minutes in water, or to simply put dry slices in your pot when preparing curries. The bag is plastic and has a reusable zip-lock seal. Country of origin is not indicated on the package but it's probably from India.

I find this product quite easy to use, at least in curries. I tried soaking the melon slices as recommended when making some fried rice. The slices didn't get thoroughly soft with simple soaking, so I ended up boiling them for 5 minutes. Then they were fine for stir-frying. But for curries, just toss the slices in dry and they soften up as you cook. They provide a terrific taste treat that can't be matched by any other vegetable, so long as you like bitter melon, of course. Many of the slices include bits of dried seed as well as flesh. Overall, this is a convenient way to keep bitter melon on hand for Indian and Chinese cooking.
