I took it on a cruise with me and it was nice and compact. Most of my items were pretty wrinkled due to them being rayon and some polyester type material and I had one jean jumpsuit. The rayon and polyester took maybe 10min to get the wrinkles out and the jean suit about 15-20min. I only refilled the reservoir once for each item.

It is a really great device. It took 26 seconds to heat and 7 minutes a curtain to steam. It did a excellent job on my dress and hubbies shirt. It packs well for traveling as it folds and comes with a bag. The curtain is a different story. I tried twice to flatten the large creases, to no avail. Overall it is worth it, just a tad disappointed with the curtain. Just a safety warning . . . It stays on with light steam release while plugged and not in use.
