My wife got me this as a birthday present, as a 33 year old pinball enjoyer, this gift is fantastic. I also enjoy building neat, functioning things like this, so this gift was a homerun.
It is fun and easy to put together. Its like a 3D jigsaw puzzle, but way cooler and the end result is a miniature pinball machine. It feels and sounds like playing a full size machine. Obviously it doesnt have all the bells and whistles, but this thing is just so freaking cool. I could play (and have played) for hours.
I love it. I will very likely be doing more of the Smartivity kits in the future. The foosball table looks appealing.
I cant get over how cool it was to see a few small sheets of wood and plastic and rubber bands go from nothing into a pinball machine. Fascinating on many levels. I might buy a couple more just to have them.

I got this for my 7 year old. He is having so much fun assembling it. The instructions are great and the concept is awesome. He has not built it completely yet, but 5 stars for the concept itself. He is learning a lot which is the whole point of the product.

When I saw the size of the instruction book I got nervous but the directions were great and it was pretty easy to assemble. My 8 year old lost interest in helping pretty quickly but it was easier for me to stay organized without him helping lol. It's pretty cool and so many details were thought of, it's quite impressive. Probably took about 2 hours or so to put together. Lots of parts, just take it a section at a time. My son loves it.
