Hey! Make sure you're SUPER careful opening these!

Not sure which brainchild thought it was a good idea to package these marble side up... but please BE CAREFUL when you're opening this package! I kind of had a spidey sense feeling about being careful with the scissors - and I'm SO HAPPY I was because they are packaged with the marble side up - and it was "THIS CLOSE" to have a scissor scrape down the middle of one of the back drop tiles. Silly (and kinda dumb, really) that they wouldn't put the top one face down in the package so they wouldn't raise risk of damage (thereby lessen their returns). Just sayin.
Otherwise - pleasantly surprised when I got these carefully out of the box. They are sturdy. And they do look like real marble slabs. However, I'm going to have to put something sturdy behind the upper portion because it's heavier than the silly little plastic attachment anchors can hold. I see a "crash" coming... Just be warned. I think the anchors are just to keep the 2 tiles together during photos. They do not have the sturdiness to hold them together on their own.
That said, happy with this purchase. I know my product photos will look much better with these backings.
