took me about 10 mins to assemble it, I had it on my 40 ft mast, and in operation 20 mins later. I'm getting 1.0 and 1.3 swr on VHF/UHF out of the box. I get great signal reports with it. Get yourself a rotor, and you got yourself a great directional base antenna for 2m/70cm.

Screw holes to attach rods do not align properly making it necessary to enlarge the top (non-treaded) hole just a little bit to make the screw fit. The screws and holes are very small.
