Love this thing. Very easy to open and adjust. I love the removable and washable bottom because I feel like that's the thing that gets dirty the fastest and I don't want to have to take the entire thing off just to get the bottom clean. The removable bottom also adds a little cushion which is nice on hard floors. I like this came with a bag too for transport. Only issue is trying to put the play yard in the bag with the bottom in it. It's snug so maybe if it was out, it would fit better. But I've only done it once otherwise it stay open at home so not really an issue.

Bought this last Christmas for toddler Grandson and have 2 more babies this year. When we have the kids over, they love this area to play and it keeps them in a safe place when parents and grandparents may be preoccupied for a few minutes. The product is absolutely perfect. To begin I was nervous buying it since I couldn't find a mat for a deluxe size pen anywhere and couldn't find this combination anywhere. I figured it was cheaper than buying the small one so it was worth the gamble. I'm so happy I did. It's absolutely perfect. The size is amazing. Plenty of room for the little ones to play and crawl around in. Its easy to set up and collapse. The pad zips to the playpen base so you don't have to worry about it moving or things getting under it. The zipper is a brilliant idea and definitely adds to the safety of the play pen. The pad gives some cushion, though not a lot. It is better than having it on the hard ground. I can see the poles on the side of the pen being an issue once he learns to stand, but that's nothing some pool noodles can't fix. For the price you can't beat this. I'll definitely be telling all my mommy friends about this and recommending it to everyone. You won't regret this purchase at all, don't let the price and lack of similar items deter you, it is the real thing and it is perfect for a safe place for baby to play and grow.

We have been leaving this set up inside but also folding it up and taking it outside when need be. It's nice having a space inside that is big enough for my son to crawl around and play but is also safe if I need somewhere to set him down. I have it set up so that I can easily see him and get to him quickly from the kitchen, but keeps him a safe distance from the stove while I am cooking. It is easy to fold up so we can take it outside and the center pad comes out with a zipper so I can wash it. I believe the mesh on the sides comes out so I can wash it as well but I haven't tried that yet

I agree with most reviews I read, the pad is not thick enough. I added foam puzzle pieces under the pad and that has given enough cushion so that when my eleven month old falls down, he doesn't get hurt. The bars are hard metal so if your baby falls against them it does hurt. Also, there are big warning labels and tags all over this thing. If your baby loves to chew tags like mine does be careful. My baby has been able to chew strings and pieces off these tags and labels.
