Picked up the Ariens Compact 24 a few years ago - ample time to determine its value to write a review. First this guy throws all the snow several western Wisconsin winters could bring!! I'm including the huge plow furrow at the end of my drive when the snowplow goes through. I had to get used to no-throttle lever at first but found out most gas-powered engines on snow blowers are going away from them - doesn't matter to me - when properly primed, and one or two pulls, she's up and running. Easy controls, easy to move around and drive, fits in my two-stall garage butted up to the wall nicely. I added LED lights from a couple tutorials on Youtube - I couldn't be happier with my Compact 24 - Ariens is "The King of Snow" - I can verify it!
