While I had more advanced toys growing up (Merlin, Coleco Football, Atari Computer) than the generation before me (stick), I had nothing like these. This is what the original Whirly Ball has evolved into. Great for boomerang ball, air bowling with solo cups, or just playing catch. Virtually indestructible! Battery time isn't too long - just get several of them to always have a charged one ready to go.

It's a pretty fun little toy. Took a little bit to get used to how to get it to fly in the direction you'd like, but when you get the hang of it, it's wicked fun and cool toy. The battery doesn't last super long, maybe less than an hour per charge. It's super light so I figured it would be easily breakable, but it is actually very durable. We've had it slam against a wall several times, and it still works perfectly fine. Works well outside too. Automatically turns off when it's slammed or upside down so it doesn't just keep going wild. Love it and my daughter does too. I originally bought it for my daughter but I probably play with it more. Works exactly as pictured , you can launch it towards things fast or slow, and can be like a boomerang ad long as you tip the top towards you.
