I own a lawn a landscape business. Sometimes I don't want to drag a ladder and chainsaw off the trailer for small tree trim jobs. This pole saw really surprised me, it's very light and easy to use. It's nice having a telescopic feature, not having to mess with multiple poles etc, it quickly and efficiently adjusts to any length. It's noticeably lighter than other pole saws I've used which makes a big difference with the amount of shoulder effort needed it operate it.

I called a tree company to remove some suckers off my Bradford Pear Trees and was quoted $850. I borrowed a friend's electric pole saw, but it didn't have the reach and was too heavy for me to hold up in the air. I wanted to try this pruning saw, and I am so happy! It's lightweight, very sharp blade, reaches all of the highest limbs, and it even has a hook on the end (suckers tend not to come back when you break them off vs cutting them). Easy to store, excellent purchase!

I was a bit hesitant to get this, thinking it was not going to work well but after reading some reviews, I decided to give it a shot. My first order got lost and I had to get a replacement sent out.
The "locks" for the extensions are nice and feel secure. They work similar to the Silky brand. I hope they will hold up over time. When the pole is fully extended, it is a bit "wobbly" and requires more care when trimming. If I need a longer extension, I find it works better to only use about 75% of the extension for each extension section. This seems to keep the pole saw a bit more rigid.
The saw that came with the blade is sharp and cut through palm fronds very easily. I've read in reviews that any generic replacement saw blade can be used but it would be nice if the Seller had replacement saw blades for sale. When threading on the saw blade, there is a "set screw" to ensure the blade does not start to spin/unthread. That is a nice touch and makes it much more secure.
I have only used this a few times but so far, I am very happy with it. It is great for a homeowner trying to stay on top of low/dead palm fronds and seed pods.

I bought this to cut branches off of a palm tree 18 feet above the ground. I am a mechanical design engineer, so I appreciate how rigid the telescoping pole is when extended 20 feet, and how small it folds up for storing and transporting. It worked halfway decent for cutting the first branch, but even though the pole is relatively rigid (considering its long length), the saw blade and the joint for attaching it were not sufficiently rigid. I then fixed the joint by drilling through it and adding a quarter inch bolt and nut as shown in the photo, which stopped the joint from wobbling. After that, it worked flawlessly.
The design could be improved if they firm up the joint that holds the sawblade, and possibly make the blade thicker, so it does not flex so easily.
I still gave this thing five stars, because as a design engineer, I appreciate how difficult it must have been to make a poll that telescopes from 5 feet to 20 feet, is lightweight enough to handle, and is sufficiently rigid to saw off a branch 20 feet above the ground.
