The KDO ear wax removal system was worth the investment. I have to admit, I wasn't expecting good results, but the unit is well designed, and vacuum is really well controlled and has 5 settings. It charged quickly, and removed wax with ease with the silicone tip which poses no threat to the skin, I found, while inside the ear. I'm over 60 and can imagine any age person would be able to use this without trouble. There are hand picking tools which were not as soft as the vacuum tip, but seemed like a nice tool even though I didn't need it.

My daughter gets chronic ear infections because she produces what seems like an excess amount of ear wax. She cries when she has to have her ears flushed, she absolutely hates it but that is exactly what they do in the doctors office. She recently complained that her ear was clogged. I came up with a compromise for her. I put the ear wax drops in her ears but instead of flushing out her ears I gently sucked out the liquid with this tool. The drops purchased separately said to use daily until relieved. Well the third day this vacuum sucked out the most disgusting chunk of ear wax. We both heard and felt it unlodge and get sucked up. It worked and we did not have to go to the doctor's office. It may not be for everyone but this worked exactly as advertised for us.
