I believe it was mentioned before, but the fittings for this pump leak like crazy. The pump works great, but I would go to your local hardware store and buy new 3/8's pipe tread fittings. It will save you so much headaches and leaking fluid everywhere.

Perfect oil transfer pump. Draw from the bottom of the bucket, and separate your coolant from your oil. Get a reverse polarity inline switch to backwash.

This is a great pump for pumping motor oil I use it to change oil in my diesel engines on my boat I do warm it up first but it pumps it in no time. This gear pump works better than the more pricey and power pumps I have been using wish I bought this years ago

The media could not be loaded. I mounted the motor to the front of a Vevor automotive oil catch to transfer used oil into buckets. The oil was about 125 degrees when pumping, which didn't seem to effect the pump at all. It comes with brass fittings that are 3/8 on the thread side, and tapered down and barbed on the other. I opted to replace those with a 3/8 which had a 3/4 barbed end to use a bigger hose. It took a little under two minutes to fill a five gallon, which is decently quick in my opinion.
To power it, I used a Fimco sprayer lead wire with an Inline switch, that I plug into a 12v inverter with a cigarette lighter end. That seems to work just fine.
It's pretty quiet If that matters to you, so it won't be annoying to use in a shop.
