Be sure to check the length of the horns slide. Beautiful case but had to send it back as too short for slide.
Room in the case for more than just the Trumpet.

Roomier storage compartment than the case that originally came with my Trumpet. I have a trumpet stand that breaks down into a fairly small unit and it did not fit in my original case. Fits fine in this one. Zipper pulls broke on the original case. This one feels sturdier but the left clasp is already needing a little adjustment to close easily and properly. That is something I never experienced during my early years with other cases for other instruments made in the 60s and 70s. Only time will tell if it will hold up but I am very glad to have the extra storage space. For the price I consider it a good purchase.

12/2/2023: Case has held up and exceeded expectations. Good purchase.
A good replacement for the original Conn 6H case from the 60's.

The case is far lighter than the original case, which is made of wood. The new one is definitely easier to carry.

The online information gave good dimensional information, and cautioned against ordering if you were unsure. I did the measurements, determined that the case WOULD NOT fit my trombone (as is), and ordered it anyway. Luckily, as I had hoped, the problems could be easily fixed by me, and the horn now fits just fine.

One thing that is a big difference with the original case is that the new one fits the horn (after I modified it), and a few mouthpieces, and not much else. In the old case, I could easily fit a collapsible music stand, an instrument stand, and lots of mouthpieces, a water bottle, and other stuff. I am going to have to figure out another way to cart all the paraphernalia along, but I am happy with the construction and fit of the Crossrock case as a replacement for a 55 year old case that was falling apart.
I liked everything about the case

I liked everything about the case, except for one thing. The padding in the lid does not come all the way down to the instrument. So in transporting the horn, the clarinet sections partially flop out of their slots. I will end up using a 1/2" thick sheet of foam rubber to keep the horn in place.
Good for the price

The price is good for what you get. However, it BARELY fit my daughters alto sax.
