I ordered this to get rid of my basket of hair tools on the counter. It does its job. I like that it's even wide enough to hold the Revlon one-step volumizing hair dryer. I have my Conair wall mounted hair dryer above it. Everything is off the counter now. It seems to be sturdy, but there might be a better way to mount it than the way the manufacturer does it. It did take a little bit of trial and error to get the screws just the right amount out of the wall to have it pretty secure. If this doesn't work well then I will drill a hole through the mount and screw it on the wall that way.
Make sure you mount it where the cords are out of the way

I was surprised at how light weight this wooden organizer was. I was disappointed that the metal cup would only fit into one end of the organizer. I thought that it was supposed to interchangeable for either end of the organizer. I am overall very pleased with the organizer and it has made my make up table so much cleaner and organized. I've not had the wall space before to accommodate a wall organizer. Now that I do, I'm so glad that I ordered it.
