Small bottles of dried, chopped chives at the grocery store are SO expensive that I was avoiding buying them. These are as close to fresh as dried chives can get.
They have a bright green color (not like the sad, gray green, ones you often see in markets).
They're good in omelets, in soups and stews, added to dip mixes, in sour cream for potatoes. As long as they have a liquid environment, go crazy!
