I use this product in my RV A/C . I used one of my foam pre cut filters designed for my unit as a pattern and cut out my own. I believe these are a much better quality than the thin repacement filters that available precut. The carbon filter sheets keep the air in my RV healthier and will keep my RV A/C run cleaner and colder.

What makes this filter better than other cut-to-fit carbon prefilters is that it has a MERV 7 rating. It will do a better job of prolonging the life of a HEPA filter, keep your AC fins cleaner, etc. Sadly, it does not seem to have any more activated carbon than the thinner prefilters, and will still freshen the air for only about a week.
If you want more carbon, you're better off using multiple layers of the thinner stuff.
