Sometimes I just don't feel the need to open a big container of hummus and eat it in a few days, and then these single serve hummus packs save the day. Off course, they make perfect on the go snack, and being shelf stable makes them perfect for camping or long hikes as well.
Is it the best tasting authentic hummus in the world? No. Is it enjoyable? Yes.
It's a quite tart and acidic hummus, with mild notes of chickpea and tahini, the cumin isn't too strong (not the biggest fan of this spice).
The texture is a little bit dry and pasty.
I appreciate the simple ingredients, using organic chickpeas; I just thing that sunflower oil shouldn't have been on the list.
The price is ridiculously high for 4 little cups of hummus, but convenience has a price when I can't find these in local stores,
