I bought the 2 pack. They look very nice. I've had them for a few weeks now and they seem very sturdy and the mechanism works fine.
These are my first ratcheting buckles, but they weren't hard to figure out. The end of the belt goes behind the rest of the belt when it's run through the buckle, so if you prefer to cinch your belt tight this may make that difficult. The belt is stiff enough that you can tighten it by pushing it through the buckle instead of pulling like you would on a traditional buckle.
Because the free end goes behind the belt this has a neater look, without the loose end.

I haven't invested in very many ratcheting belts before, I have been a traditional belt guy for most of my life, but I admit that I like these belts as a more casual option. The ratchet option is great for "hiding" the rest of the belt so you don't see the extra flap sticking out. Admittedly, I will probably end up adjusting my belts since I was right in between sizes, so there's a lot of extra to hide.
I didn't give the belts a full five stars because I find the ratchet release a bit stiff on both belts. So, there was a moment in the men's room that was a little embarrassing as I wrestled with my belt for the first couple of times that I needed to release it. So, I added just a little silicone spray, which has helped a lot so far!
