The ONLY REASON I took one star away"” It's very bland & "blah" when just mixed with milk. And matcha flavor is very mild. BUT OTHER THAN THAT"” Tastes better when mixed with a shake/smoothie (whether it's a protein shake, fruit smoothie, or with a cup of what you juiced in a juicer). It's also really good in pancakes.

I found this green powder blend from the recommendation of a site that rated 5 different green powders from an organic/gluten intolerant rating system. It got an A+ as compared to Athletic Greens who got an A- due to some grass grains that could irritate someone with gluten sensitivity. Plus, I thought a greens is double the price! I was way too nervous to put this powder in water first. It doesn't smell bad but something about having so many mushrooms in the powder made me not want to try it in water..lol. I am not a mushroom fan! It smells almost sweet/clove like, and I mixed it in my chocolate smoothie with almond milk, some cherries and some kale thrown in. I immediately could taste this powder. It's different for sure, sweet and maybe an organic type taste. It's hard to explain. It will definitely take some getting used to. I'm going to add some peanut butter powder next time. I would say give it a try because some people really like the flavor and it has some great health benefits!
