I bougaht 'this to take some hand sewing with me on a long trip. I soon realized that a) there are TOO MANY pocket pages and b) once I had my items inside, it would be too heavy. However, I liked that there were pockets and a carry bag. So I started modifying. YES, YOU CAN TAKE THE STITCHES OUT of the bottom of the pages so that you don't have too carry all the pages/sleeves. I reduced it to one sleeve and now I can carry it in my backpack. When I get back, I may put stitches across the center bottom of these sleeves just to keep it reinforced, but for now it is perfect. Advice to manufacturer, make these sleeves removable.

Nice size and color! This attractive (paisley) bag easily stores away when not in use. It has enough see through pockets that I can categorize and organize tools to easily locate them. This has organized my messy space into a clean appealing look. No more rummaging through sewing boxes hoping I find what I need at the moment. One dedicated spot to keep my sewing tools. I have a small living space and this bag has a small footprint with a big storage/organizing impact on a favorite hobby! The bag and each pocket unzips quickly and easily. It lays open flat so you can quickly flip through the sleeves and easily see and find your tools. Each sleeve has 2 pockets front and back for a total of 4 pockets! It's double the number of pockets I thought I was getting. It also has a big outside zippered pocket for larger items. The bag easily expands to accommodate bulkier items, too. Nice handle to grab and store the bag or to travel. This keeps all my tools on the ready making sewing projects more enjoyable, less time consuming and frustrating. Only downside is that it holds so much I notice that I have several lonely empty pockets beckoning something to fill them! Look out wish list!! Get organized and enjoy your hobby!!
