I had to return this item because the mouthpiece was too hard to remove because of my arthristic hands and it had to be removed in order to clean the inside properly. Otherwise, I have to say it would have been a very usefull and needed piece of sanitary equipment.

I purchased this urinal for my elderly father who is bedridden and generally "props" a urinal at night. It has worked out very well. The "Rubber-opening" is better than typical plastic urinals that can scratch or cause irritation. The valve has been functioning as intended - to prevent flow back and spillage. The overall "flat design" also works well for positioning. We have not used the sleeve as it hasn't been necessary. This is exactly what I was looking for and am satisfied with purchase.
