Dislikes.....I hate the bag. It's not cheap or poorly designed I'm just not a fan of camo.
Likes....it's everything I wanted (except bag) lightweight, durability, design. I'd buy it again.
As for the squeaks...paraffin or beeswax problem solved.

I bought one direct from the distributor, then bought 2 more from Amazon. I wanted to see if the items were different, as one being defective vs buying from the source.
All 3 canteens were the exact same, with no issues.
This is only a partial review , as I have not cooked with any of the set yet.
All 3 parts are made well for their intended use.
Meaning , everything is super lite. Nothing leaks and nothing is broken .
The canteen pouch, isn't bad if your going on a hike, going for walks, and lite camping. Although, I haven't tested the pouch yet in a hard environment..... but even with that said; I dont feel that it would hold up to really hard use.
If your looking for a canteen set that doesn't leak, is super lite, and pretty well made. Then you can't go wrong with this set.
But if your a survivalist or heavy use bushcrafter.... you may want to replace the pouch. To me , the pouch isn't a deal breaker.
Edit Added : The supplier (without me reaching out); sent me replacement pouches. These new pouches are as pictured in the product above.
The new pounches; I believe ; will have no issue with a more survivalist / hard bushcraft use.
They do not come with the lid slot on the inside, however I dont see a need for it anyways as the lid can lay flat on the bottom.
Thank you so much for sending me new pouches.
If I could hand out 6 stars I would.

Chinese, but evidently quality.

Using those two words in a sentence feels like an oxymoron; but it holds water (literally).
Lightweight, high capacity, if this IS actually titanium... then it's an impressive material.
I have loved camo stuff since I was a kid so the case makes this 100x cooler to me and I use it always.
My only gripe would be the supposed residue left over inside the canteen from manufacturing. It seems silly to me that Valtcan, ostensibly selling high-quality products, would not hasten to clean this residue out. The peace of mind that would bring would be worth the premium..
Knowing that you are storing your water supply in this titanium shell, the possibility of there being even vague traces of industrial solvents left over makes me disconcerted. ya, ya, "just wash it", well honestly i think THEY should wash it. we are certainly paying for it.

I've been using the canteen mess kit by Kieth Titanium, and it's been great to me. I saw this mess kit by Valtcan, and wondered how it fares when compared to the existing champ. I am pleasantly surprised with what they have created.
First off, in terms of capacity, the canteen is identical to Kieth's offering at 1100ml. Valtcan's larger cup is 50ml larger than Kieth's, at 750ml vs 700ml. However, Valtcan's design incorporates an additional 400ml cup - nice! The cup and the lid of the canteen both have rings on the lid for hanging above heat, but just be mindful of the silicone seal on the canteen. You don't want to melt that. The handles on both of them are strong and well designed.
In terms of finish, the mess kit from Kieth Titanium takes the edge. It looks and feels smoother and more refined. The carrying case that Valtcan includes, in my opinion is better designed when compared to Kieth's offering, though. While Kieth's is simple and light, Valtcan's is tougher made with thicker material and more robust stitching. It is roomier to fit the extra cup. Both fit snug and secure, but the Altcan is easier to get the contents in and out of. I prefer Altcan's design on this one.
Neither have any problems with leaking, and that's a huge plus. You don't want to be leaking precious water when out in the field. But like I mentioned above, just keep the silicone/rubber seal in mind when heating up your canteen.
In conclusion, I feel this comparison is a stalemate. They both offer great mess kits that are quality made. In terms of value, however, I think Valtcan walks away as the clear victor. With all that said, in the end it all depends on what your preferences are, and what the application is. For me? I can't say which one I like more yet. I love them both for what they are! I would take the Kieth when I'm going alone, or if I'm away for shorter periods. I would take the Valtcan when others are with me, or if I plan on staying out longer. If I want to travel lighter, definitely the Kieth. You see, they are both fantastic, and you can't go wrong with either. Highly recommended kit! 5/5!

I got this for my Bug-Out Bag.
Pros:
Titanium
Stackable
No Metallic Taste
Lightweight
Durable
Cons:
None
What I received in the package:
1 x VALTCAN Titanium Canteen Mess Kit
Which Includes:
1 x Canteen
2 x Cups
1 x Vented Lid
2 x Hanging Hooks & Cable
1 x Carrying Case
This VALTCAN Titanium Canteen Mess Kit product is made entirely of Titanium with the exception of the carrying case. The canteen is roughly 7 1/2" x 5" x 3 and weighs approximately 5.6oz. The 750ml cup is about 3 3/4" x 5 1/4" x 3" and weighs 3.7oz. The 400ml cup is 2" x 5 1/4" x 3" and weighs about 2.7oz. The lid is 1/4" x 5 1 /2" x 3 1/2" and weighs 1.3oz. The carrying case is roughly 7" x 7" x 3" and weighs 4.8oz.
What I like about this mess kit mainly is that it is Titanium. Titanium used to be quite expensive when this type of gear was introduced some years ago. But it has come down quite a bit and is relatively reasonable to purchase now. Titanium is ultra light, but very strong. So it is perfect for backpacking. One feature I love about this product is the military style setup.
If this is your first time considering Titanium or you are new to hiking. Here are a couple things on Titanium. It is definitely NOT non-stick. It is durable and light. That is its main purpose .. not to be easy to clean. So a helpful tip "¦
- Don't burn or overcook food in it. I know it sounds like a no brainer. But you don't know how many times I hear this for any kind of outdoor cookware.
Titanium will also heat in about 60% of the time than stainless steel. So it cooks food faster and/or heats water more quickly in my experience.
The only thing this "˜mess' kit is that your typical mess kit would also contain utensils/ cutlery. Would have been a nice addition to have a knife, fork and spoon or variant of that.
I was unable to locate any warranty either in the product information or item description.
I appreciate you taking the time to read this. I received this product in exchange for an honest review. All in all, this is one of the better titanium mess kits I have run across. It is well made, light weight and extremely functional. There are little details that show the manufacturer put thought into how this was made. From the stiffer handle retainers to the internal scale. The price point when compared to the competition is right inline with the average price. Absolutely love this gear ... Hope this information was helpful. [5 Stars]
