Flawless execution for us to display our presentations on our board room wall monitor without having to disconnect our existing setup. Ok, maybe just adding the receiver to the HDMI input on the monitor and USB input only. But works great.

I'm using this for my home theater to replace a 25 foot HDMI cable. The receiver (HD projector) is 14 feet, open air line-of-sight, from the transmitter (a Roku Soundbar).

It takes about 20-30 seconds for the devices to connect when powering on, which is no big deal because I typically power on the projector and soundbar for warm up a minute or so before I sit down. Once connected, I have not observed any lag, video anomalies or drop outs, or loss in picture quality. I am using full HD 1920x1080.

At first, they would not connect. However, attaching the included USB power connectors to BOTH devices resulted in a connection. I subtracted one star because it was not made clear that the need for external power was very likely (or probably always) required. The only place I saw it mentioned on the item page was a picture with the USB connector in use. Since both devices (projector and Roku) only have one USB port I would have much preferred not to have to use them this way, although I suppose it's better than having to plug them into the wall. Likely, other devices such as computers provide enough power in the HDMI port.

Additionally, the device HDMI connector was too short to insert in the projector. This was due to the way the projector HDMI port was recessed vs. the width of the device. However, the vendor supplied two each of a 90° adapters AND a short HDMI dongles. The 90° adapter wouldn't work in this case due to the proximity of the required USB power conflicting with the device, but the dongle solved the problem. The other end (the Roku bar) worked without any adapter. I didn't subtract another star for this because the added parts solved the issue and you could also say the the projector design was equally to blame. Note the USB power adapters also came with wall warts if your application doesn't have a usable USB port nearby.

I've only had them a few days and used them a couple times so longevity and reliability are unknown.

This is an excellent product for wireless HDMI. Right out of the box, plug in the receiver and transmitter dongles, after they quickly link you're viewing and listening to the HDMI source. I'm using the product to wirelessly extend my PC to a 43-inch wall-mounted TV several feet away and it works great! So far I have used it several times and it has operated flawlessly. I have not yet tested the maximum range, but hope to in the future. If I had one thing to nit pick a concern about, it would be that the transmitting dongle does get a bit warm. But I have on occasion used it for several hours with no problems. I highly recommend and would not hesitate to purchase again for another device.

Absolutely love this wireless HDMI transmitter & receiver!! Bought this to replace another vendor's wireless HDMI transmitter. This was one was truly plug and play as I was able to set it up in 10 minutes! I'm using it to transmit signal from my living room cable TV box to the TV in my bedroom. It successfully transmits through the living room wall and bedroom door. You can hook it up so that one transmitter can send signal to two different TVs, but you need to order second receiver. I've ordered the second receiver and will update this post to indicate how adding the second receiver works. Highly recommend this product!

PS: Adding the second reciever was just as easy to install and get working - 5 minutes and done. Yay!

After trying 3rd system, I finally was successful in extending my cable program from my basement to my garage. First try was VS100 which was not successful transmitting. Only got "waiting for signal message" on garage tv screen. Next tried VS600, but Extending unit did not work. Got 2nd VS600 system and was successful. You do have to do minor adjustments to the position of the IR on the receiver once in a while to get better reception, but I can deal with that. Did my homework and Diamond did stand out among competition.
