My 7yr old niece wanted something like this for her birthday. She LOVED this. It even has little papers that show kids what kind of bugs to LEAVE ALONE. It fit her hands perfectly. She used it for a month every day. Her older (teenager) brother broke one of the pieces but if it hadn't been for that I'm confident she'd still be using it constantly.
