okay when starting to skate again as an adult you need a very high level of support from a traditional skate (the skates you wore as a kid). theses skates are amazing and would not let anyone near them they might take my chuck taylor fav color skates but this is for when you got it down pact NO FALLS. this more like a tennis shoe on wheels. buy 2 pair of skates this one for when you get to top level skater and a traditional skate when you are getting back into your family activity day of skating with the family learning how to use tour legs again.... lol
