Yes, it says 12' long in the description but not until we got it in the space did we really realize just how MASSIVE this mat is! That said, for the price, it's a pretty solid buy. I'm using this to add extra padding to a basement workout space, providing another layer of protection between me and the concrete floors.
In terms of thickness, this was one of the thicker 1-piece mats I could find on Amazon, but it's not much more cushion than an average yoga mat. The individual "puzzle piece" matting I have is significant more cushion. That said, it is a trade-off I am willing to take. The "puzzle piece" mats have a habit of coming apart at the seams (where the pieces meet) when I'm doing a HIIT workout involving many lunges, burpees, etc. Because this is one piece, I don't need to worry about it separating.
This is also easy to clean. I just use a Clorox wipe once a week to keep it sanitized. In between weekly cleanings, I spritz with a homemade yoga spray (1 part white vinegar + 4 parts water + tea tree oil to preference). Easy peasy!

I was worried to try this due to the limited reviews but and absolutely no regrets! It's so thick that even on the tile floor I can easoly do yoga! If you are looking for a home gym flooring this is the one to buy!
