So far so good. The key to an accurate reading is moist soil. The ones that say it stays on 7.0 for PH is probably because they are sticking it in dry soil. When checking the lawn ,do so after a rain or watering, and use a screw driver about same diameter and length as the probe so you clear any stones or gravel that might damage it when inserting, this way makes good soil contact. Wait about a minute for a reading...Wipe clean with a paper towel between each reading. Gives good readings of all 3..The fertility reading does show, but as a combo of NPK...When clean, the readings return to normal baseline.. 7.0 for PH, 0 for fertility, and the actual air temperature..

Purchased and used for our garden this spring. Seems to work well (I don't have anything to compare the results to but I did get different reading in different locations so it appears to work). Hopefully it will co tinge to work for several years.
