Key features
- •A MUST-HAVE KITCHENAID ATTACHMENT: KITCHTREE Accessories include fruit & vegetable strainer parts and food grinder. The strainer can help you to cook puree and strain fruits and vegetables for jams, sauces, baby food and more. The grinder can ground meat with great texture for sausages and burgers. Both of them are your great choice for you kitchenAid mixer. This strainer part is not compatible with KitchenAid food grinder (FGA).
- •STRAINER ATTACHMENT: The strainer attachment works better for foods like cooked apples: soft with a flesh that you desire (the cooked pulp) which easily passes through the little holes, and other parts (stems, seeds, skins) which you want to separate. Another example for success is tomatoes. The cooked tomatoes separate easily, the seeds, stems, woody parts and any tough skins pass out the end.
- •GRINDER ATTACHMENT: You will get 2 different diameters of grinding plates, 2 blades and 2 different sizes of sausage stuffer tubes. The meat grinder attachment is made of Food grade material, grind fresh meat for sausages and burgers, vegetables for salsas & sauces, hard cheeses, fresh bread crumbs. With the two size sausage stuffer tubes you can make any sausages you like.
- •EASY to USE: Cut into pieces that will fit into hopper. Remove tough, thick skin or rind. Cook all tough or firm fruits and vegetables before straining. Keep your food clear After the ingredients pass through the mill, the strainer cone removes all peels, leaving you with finely pureed fruits or vegetables.
- •NOT DISWASHER SAFE: KITCHTREE attachment set include strainer attachment and grinder attachment. All parts are detachable, you are able to clean it very quickly with soap, warm water (under 122°F), and the cleaning brush that came with it. Note: You need the grinder attachment in order to use the strainer, but you do not need the strainer in order to use the grinder (as a grinder).

Tiny hopper
Laura✓ Verified Purchase•August 29, 2023
I would like to give this product a 5-star review, but there are a couple small issues. First, and most importantly to me, the hopper is too small. Or rather, the sides are too low. I understand that it isn't meant to dump a lot in and just let it go. The problem is that bits of tomato skin and seeds on the pusher fall into the bowl below far too easily when the pusher is raised. If the sides of the hopper were even a half inch higher (an inch would be better) it would contain those bits.
Second, although it does go together, it isn't the easiest fit. It takes a little pushing and wiggling.
Third, the instructions are printed on a thin strip of folded paper, and are not very clear, especially the pictures identifying the parts for assembly. Yes, I could figure it out, but it could have been done much more clearly and in a far more durable manner, such as a little booklet.
All that aside, I have used it successfully three times for processing tomatoes for canning sauce so far, and it is faster and easier to use than my hand-turned food mill. I am happy with it, except for the tiny hopper.

Well worth the money!

While I have only used this product one time, I love it and it did the job for me with minimal effort. I had been using a manual food mill to strain and purée my tomatoes, I decided to get this attachment for my Kitchen Aid mixer, because it's a lot of work using the food mill. Cleanup was a breeze. Thank you for this product. One of the above videos was really helpful in seeing how it is put together.
Well built. Worth twice the price.

This is a great product at a fantastic price. I had use one made by kitchen aid and was thinking of buying one for myself. Looked at the price and thought I'd check out Amazon.
The differences between kitchen aids seeder and this one is almost none existent. If you have a kitchen aid grinder you'll prefer using that end cap instead of the end cap from this grinder. The housing sits better on Kitchen Aids end cap. If you don't it will be a little touchy to get the housing to stay on but it will work.
The best tip I can give someone who need to do a bushels of tomatoes is to scape down metal cone with knife. This will keep the juice flowing. Stop regulars to clean out cone of seeds and skins. Say after a bushel.
Not for grapes and fruits with bigger seeds that tomatoes. These can seize up machine and break the screen, forcing you to buy another seeder screen or a new unit.
Finally, you can do 5x the amount of tomatoes in the time it take you to do it in the hand crank systems. You'll also get more juice per tomato.

Makes making applesauce so much faster and easier. Wish I would have had this years ago. Works well on my Kitchen Aid mixer. Cleaning can be a little time consuming, and I wish it could all be put into dishwasher instead of handwashing. Really my only negative comment.
