I bought this after using another brand. I diluted it according to directions. I used a pump sprayer, with a coarse spray to saturate the areas. I made sure no rain was in sight for at least half a day. Lo and behold, it does remove moss, mold, and mildew. Have patience, it can take up to 9 months. It is the subsequent rains that follow application that washes away the moss, mold, and mildew. It doesn't do much to black algae growth under my gutters, but it works pretty well on the green stuff on the side of my house. Next time I'll power wash first and use this as a preventable or to reach spots that I can't get with the power washer.

I tried this product on three different surfaces, cement side walk, vinyl fencing and aluminum gutter and downspout. The product did not make a difference on the sidewalk at all. This did not surprise me because it is a stain that won't even come off with power washing. Next was with vinyl fencing and it did a good job on that. It also worked well on the aluminum area.

In order to get a good result I needed to wet, spray, wait, scrub and rinse. Because it dries quickly, you can only do small areas at a time. For me, this then becomes a cleaner for small stains because it would be very time consuming to complete all of the steps over and over to clean an entire fence or railing. Compare this to something like wet and forget that you can spray and then walk away.

Bottom line: the product works as stated but make sure it is the right product for your job.

Holy moly does this Renu Cleaner concentrate work great! We have a brick house, with concrete large back patio, and a concrete pool deck. Brick House wise there is really only one side that gets discolored with vines and whatnot crawling up, the rest of the sides get plenty of sun. The concrete, particularly on the back deck, is another story. It has permanent spots from various things that no matter what we do will not come up"¦Thanks brother in law for letting the kids play with minor firework products on the back porch"¦ then there's the area the grill was near, who knew grease basically never ever comes off"¦

So when I got this I was skeptical to say the least considering we have used many different brands that was supposed to do the same thing and have been disappointed with the results.

But not this time! I should also state though that I did treat the concrete twice. I should also state that I did use a pressure washer to wash it off the next day, and I did really scrub with not only the included drill brush, but also a couple of other concrete brushes we have purchased over the years.

There are still a few random fireworks and grease stains left, but nowhere near what there was, onlythe most stubborn survived. But my concrete is a completely different color! It was basically a dark grey when I started, and it is now a very light grey. Of course this does mean the few stubborn stains that held on are more noticeable, but still this stuff actually pulled up years and years of dirt and stuff that had permanently discolored the concrete!

As for the brick, it took everything off of it. Yes it worked, but I have used other products for the brick that worked as well, so i am not as excited about the brick as I am for the concrete. But to sum it up, totally 100% recommend this for concrete!

This cleaner concentrate works great! We used it on the house and diluted it according to the directions on those parts where it just had surface stains, but in other spots where the sun and elements had caused more issues, I poured the cleaner into a separate bucket, added a little water, and scrubbed it clean. I wasn't worried that I would inhale something that was toxic because I was working in the open air, but I always use gloves, as cleaners can be harsh on my hands. The gloves and small scrub brush are nice to include with this kit because the scrub brush that I have is bigger and this smaller brush came in handy to clean behind gutters and in corners. There's a lot of other things I would rather do than clean the outside of my house, so I want to use a cleaner that's effective, and this one is!

Did a great job cleaning my PVC decking! My newly built deck was caked with dirt from construction during rain. After a failed attempt to clean with dish soap, I gave this a shot. Applied with spray, gave a light scrub and washed off...Brought my decking back to life! Very happy with the results!

Why 4 stars? I also cleaned my (much older) vinyl siding...While it it improved it greatly!!! It also left it looking half dry. Like there are water streaks on it. Not terrible, still a welcomed improvement over the grime but it's been like this for over a week. Hopefully it improves, if not, it's still an improvement.
