I needed a new printer and the reviews here won me over. After doing some additional research, I ordered. Now, several weeks later, I must say I love my HP DeskJet 4155e! I am absolutely satisfied.

The packaging was nice. Then came time to setup and I was super anxious. After taking time to read the easy to follow steps, setup was a breeze. I've had to ask a few times is the printer printing. I click print and don't hear much of anything. This quiet and quick enough printer, and print quality meets my home office needs perfectly. Considering the value, the price is great. And the ink trial? A nice bonus. Setup ink is included with the new printer. Your first shipment of ink arrives a week or so after you complete your new printer account setup. I was pleased to find out you can print up to 700 pages during the free trial. There's an option to also add HP paper to your plan which I thought was great.

I purchased an all-in-one HP computer in 2020 at an unbelievable price and it exceeded my expectations. My experience has been the same with the printer. So, HP again gets a win from me. The only small thing I noticed was when I used a highlighter, the black ink smeared a bit. Tech support can be better, but the app is sufficient. Way to go, HP! I look forward to purchasing another computer soon.

I liked the price for a color printer / copier / scanner. I had to get assistance setting up. Previous HP Deskjets I had owned had an LCD display. This one does not and that makes setup and use a bit more complicated. Satisfied with output from all 3 functions.-

Just got this to replace a dead printer in my home office. While it does not duplex (darn it), it does make beautifully clear copies, and it scans with fewer steps than the old printer. AND the paper loading is easy peasy. This was an inexpensive printer, but it is already worth more than we paid. Thanks HP.

The printer prints well, and is an attractive white. I print out labels for products I sell and I'm very happy with the print quality. The ink subscription HP tries to get you to sign up for is something to be aware of . Once you sign up for it you can only use HP ink cartriges going forward or it won't let you print, so pay attention to the fine print and decide if you want to be locked into original HP cartriges or be free to get cheaper ink refills in the future. I believe you also have to be online to print if you sign up for it too. Too many preconditions just to print when signing up so I wasn't interested.

Works so far, nothing fancy about it, prints and scans fine. Feels about as sturdy as any other hp printer. And looks as pretty as any.other printer does...
Installation is as simple as it always been, just different method (app+web+subscription).
I opted for the ink subscription as it fits my low end needs better. I pay a $1 a month and get maybe a cartridge every other year, so I pay about $24 a cartridge instead of $62 at retail store. And yes, it's recommendations can be annoying if you go over 3 pages worth of ink, but I just ignore it, since I may not print anything else for 3-5 months again. Do not have a printing paper subscription as I don't see the benefit of it.
Going by other reviews, it looks like I'll have to learn basic printer maintenance if I want this product to work longer than 3 years. Yay...
