Sound great. A bit louder than other mute cymbals but can't complain for the price.

Considering the price as a factor, you could spent under $100 for these and get the same product as you would spend $200+ for the big brand names. There really isn't that big of a difference.
They hold up well and I find that rebound from the cymbals is as real as it gets so practice has been great.
My neighbors are happy as well as my family. I switched from an acoustic set to an electric then to these quiet cymbals with mesh drumheads. So far I like these cymbals with mesh drumheads best for practice. The weird waps from the electric kit is much louder and really annoying to most people so switching to these really made sense and overall everyone was much happier around me.
One more thing I need to point out for some of you drummers looking into these. If you're debating between an electric kit and just putting mesh heads and quiet cymbals on your acoustic instead, I recommend the mesh with quiet cymbals. Difference is if you practice on an electric kit all the time at home but that one moment you then play an acoustic kit live on stage or in practice with the band, it takes a while getting use to playing acoustic drums again when you switch. It really is quite an adjustment to make. Going from electric kit to acoustic for your performance you'll make many mistakes and slow down a bit just trying to adjust.
I highly recommend these again the others with higher prices. I play soft and I play hard and in both situations they handle well. I don't think you'll be disappointed. Been a drummer since 1990.

For the price these things are great. I have never played the higher priced brand name LV cymbals but after watching some videos on them compared to these I felt it wasn't worth spending all the extra money for just practice cymbals. These work perfectly for what I need.
Surprisingly good

I didn't want to spend hundreds on the more mainstream brands so I purchased the silver set of these. I wasn't expecting much considering what they are and how much they cost, but I was surprised. The sound quality of the hats, crash and ride are actually sound pretty decent. They are a little louder than I expected, but significantly quitter than regular cymbals. The only complaint I have is that the splash sounds like a bell and I purchased a matching china which didn't sound like a china at all to me. My suggestion would be to just stick with the basic set.
Great cymbal set for RECORDING STUDIO

First let me start off by saying these little symbols sound really good for the amount of money you pay for them. In fact, I would rather have these than some six or $700 sets. I looked for a review about anyone using these for recording purposes but couldn't find any. So I took a chance. I put a microphone on hi hats and microphones on the symbols. My goal was to have a much quieter symbol in the room but still be able to pump up the volume in my DAW workstation. Wow! I am impressed. The symbols sound really good when you mic them up. The only thing that keeps it a four star, is the ride symbol does not work well for that purpose. You don't get enough paying without the symbol rattling like crazy. However, it makes a great low sounding symbol. Are use it as such and I am very pleased with the sound of it for that purpose. The smallest crash, I have not used it for recording because I couldn't get it to sound proper. It's funny that I use the midsize crash in the ride is my two crashes and they work well. Hi hats have a tinny sound if you put the mic in the wrong place. I found I get the best sound out of putting the microphone directly over top of the top by hand pointing down at it on the backside, the opposite side you hit . Typically I would put it to the side but I couldn't stand it tinny sound it made it distorted. Overall these symbols sound great for recording purposes. I will put a little sample of something I played in a song by recording a video and uploading. I'll try to do that very soon . If you're looking for a quieter symbol to record with, this price you can make the sound big as you like or small as you like.
