Make sure to look them over really well prior removing tags. We had orders ours as a Christmas present and one of the skates had damage where it looked like one side of the skate was melted. Amazon replaced the order and sent a new one out however, should have been caught before packaging. Other than that, seems great.

I purchased these skates well before Christmas so we didn't try them on the 5-year old til Christmas day. The insole in one skate is kinda bunched up. It's easily pushed back into a flat position but goes back into the bunched up position when you let go. He can't navigate skates yet so he's unsteady on his feet. I'm sure it'll get better.
