I bought this for my husband bc he has recently been diagnosed with high blood pressure. His doctor advised me to check his blood pressure daily. The price was right. It is a perfect size for travel. It comes with 4 AA batteries that last about 2 weeks. It does not come with plug like the one my mother has. The readings are accurate. The voice is loud and clear. My husband loves it .

High blood pressure seems to run high with my family. Sad to say that it likely runs high because none of us really run. I used to keep a regular check on my blood pressure many years ago, but fell out of practice with it over time. I tend to carry a lot of my weight in my gut area, but I do have larger upper arms from hours of yard work and such. With my larger arms, it was usually difficult to find a blood pressure cuff that actually fit me. Fortunately, with this monitor, that is not a concern at all because the cuff not only fits my arm, but it has more than enough room to spare. Another surprise came for me when I looked into the package, and...the batteries were included! Not only that, but they had a charge on them too! After getting the batteries placed in the monitor, and the cuff situated on my arm, I pressed the power button, and all of a sudden there was another voice in the room other than mine. This monitor not only has a large, and very easy to read, display, but it also talks to you. It immediately went into a diagnostic to check my blood pressure. The process went smoothly, and afterwards, it read me all of my stats as they were displayed on the screen. Then, it mentioned roughly what range my pressure was in (for example, if it was low, high, or somewhere else). This monitor keeps track of a great number of readings as well, and for the overall price, it's well worth its weight in gold for providing peace of mind with your levels. Now that I've got this awesome monitor added to my arsenal, I can have a better understanding of where my levels are, and if I'm okay with them, or have room for improvement. I do recommend resting for a bit before measuring your pressure because I had just finished push mowing my yard. When I hooked the monitor up, I thought it was going to call the paramedics because my pressure was up so high. So, definitely rest up before using this monitor.

Overall a great product. I bought this to measure my BP at home while on a stimulant, and I was consistently getting pretty high readings. However, my doctor told me that the cord part has to line up with your arm, or else the results will be off. Since fixing that my results have been a lot more normal. Would definitely recommend this product for its ease of use!

I had to keep checking my blood pressure after delivery and this one perfect, good price and great quality. After use it tell you the number and if it's normal or high. The cuff is big so can fit perfect to all body types. The Velcro is strong just watch out for your clothes so it doesn't get snag

I had a wrist BP monitor and my doctor told me they are crap & to stop using it. He said to get a monitor with a cuff for more accurate info. This arrived today and I love it - super easy to use. Just plug the hose to the cuff into the base and the nice lady in the monitor tells you exactly what to do. She also gives you a pat on the back telling you your BP is normal. I like that. No one ever tells me I do anything well. I looked at the directions and you can set the date & time and all that plus it will keep statistics fo various people. I didn't bother with this as it looked to complicated LOL. If anything changes about this good review, I will update later.
