When I pack, I want to fit as many items in as possible. Regular packing cubes don't do that; I have played with them, but they didn't benefit me, so I don't use them. These compression bags are a whole different story. I was able to roll up 3 nylon shirts, 1 pair capris and 2 pairs shorts, as well as 6 pairs underwear, in one rectangular cube, smaller than the space the clothes along could have fit in the suitcase. I'm sold!!

I love space saving. I usually use the plastic ones that release air out but those wrinkle the clothes so bad. This was great- I packed and then the zippers made all the bags half the size without squishing/wrinkling them.

I have used them for 2 trips one for 8 days the other 4-they are great! The sizes are a good variety, not going to fit one pair of shoes or 2 or flip flops in the shoe bag. The compression zippers are great- able to fit a 4 day trip into a carry on with plenty of room for lots of souvenirs on the trip home. The dirty laundry bag is really handy.

I struggled to get these things to zip closed when fully packed and ended up taking stuff out of them. I usually roll my clothes and stuff them down in my suitcase, and compared to that these really didn't save much space. However they were great for organizing. I used the smaller one for all my socks and underwear for a 10 day trip, and the larger one for sports bras and tank tops, and a few shirts. They do seem to be very sturdy, I really yanked on the zippers trying to close them and they were tough. Overall I'd recommend for organizing your suitcase but not for saving space. I will probably use them again because they were convenient for keeping my socks in one place.

I've had these for a year or so now, used them on several trips, and they hold up well! I do tend to pack them really full, but the seams and zippers have been holding. I don't know if they really help fit more in the larger bag, but I use them mainly for organization. I use the laundry bag the most and have taken it on backpacking trips as my only bag for clothes (it rolls up and you can get all the air out of it effectively). Stuffed with clothes (except for the laundry bag), I can fit all 5 in my Lily Bloom carry on bag (15 X 8 X 15 inch) plus a sweater or two on top.
