I am short in statue 5'2" futon was too low to the ground and I had to search for something to raise it up 5", I tried to ask manufacturers to sent longer legs Nd got no reply. I did buy ugly raisers that look like plant pots with futon sitting on them. I purchased assembly and that appeared simple to do for professional. The couch functions well, ad never said it was so low and difficult to stand once you're seated for elderly person. I picked it I'll have to live with it

This couch is really elegant-especially in forest green velvet, with clean, simple lines. Instructions were straight forward; assembly required more than a little elbow grease, particularly with hinge on bottom. Inclusion of allen wrench helpful. Some effort, but not difficult. Helpful to have two people for handling, assembly, and turning couch over. Back of couch raises and lowers easily. Couch seats two adults comfortably, and firmness is welcome. Converts to a bed simply by lowering back from upright position. Perfect for the occasional overnight guest, or to simply relax and read a book, or window gaze with favorite beagle, Rudy. This is a sturdy, quality product, at a great price. Highly recommend!

Was hesitant to buy because the review pictured did match the color as posted, but the whole sofa is the color of my first close up pic!!! It does not look the same in pictures, at all. It's a beautiful dark emerald green as posted in first picture, & is not "glossy" like the review pictures. My pictures of the couch in full also look different. It just doesn't show it's real color in pictures.
So easy to assemble.

The couch looks luxurious and it's comfortable. However, it is pretty short but great for small space. Also keep in mind. The arm rest and legs pieces are stored in the back of the couch behind the zipper. I was confused for a second and thought I was missing pieces.

We did a remodel on a condo that we sold this summer. We marketed the condo as a perfect VRBO rental and sold it furnished. This couch worked out well, as it was modern/contemporary and functional as a futon bed. It is comfortable to sit on, but not for a long movie. Oddly, It is more comfortable to sleep on. It was easy to assemble and looks amazing in the living room. The one disappointment was a small cut in the fabric on one of the cushion corners. We repaired it but felt like sharp objects should be held at bay.
