I needed a new throat to work with my dado, this fits well, works just like the original and allows me to safely and cleanly use the dado.

This Dado Plate is a good fit for my 10" Dewalt DWE7491.
This is not an OEM Dewalt plate. But it's not bad.
I have a 6" Dado set, and the opening is a little longer than I would like. My pictures show the dado blades at max height (depth of cut). The opening is 1"x7"
As you can see in the picture, the adjustment screws and lock match the OEM plate.
The plate is made from from some sort of plastic, and as other reviewers have noted, it is not very stiff.
I haven't actually cut anything with it yet, but I can see this may be an issue with moderate downward pressure. I may try to made a wood support for underneath to stiffen it up.
Since I rarely need a dado cut, I'm not an expert. But, for me, It's definitely better than nothing.
