The clay lid breaks easily. My lid is broken. No where there is a place where I can get lid replacement. Even chat service is not available easily

My first attempt at red bean sprouts was very successful (pictured above). Red bean sprouts are more difficult, and it is difficult to succeed with other utensils. Because red bean sprouts germinate for a long time and the water does not circulate, it is easy to mold and smell. And this device makes it easy. I just hope to wait a little more patiently and change the water on time every day. As for growing mung bean sprouts and soybean sprouts, it is even easier. I like it very much and recommend it to everyone.

I'd been trying to grow mung bean sprouts following directions from the internet with bad results, every crop bitter or spoiling and going instantly into the trash until I bought this Bear Bean Sprouts machine. After treating the mung beans with heated water for one hour, as directed in the instructions, then soaking them for 24 hours, I put them in this mung bean machine, added water, added the weight plate, and covered it. I switched out the water once per day.

78 hours (3 days and 6 hours) after I started, I had a magnificent harvest of beautiful plump tasty bean sprouts. No bitterness. No pink. No spoilage. I could have harvested them at 3 days exactly, as they were already lifting the weight plate and the lid, but I wanted to see what would happen when left the full 78 hours. (I may try and extra 12 hours and see how tall they get.) Note: I did cover it with a black cloth since I had it in a very bright area across from a large window in my kitchen.

After batting zero using methods I found on the internet, this Bear Bean Sprouts Machine gave me a home run the first time out. I am beyond pleased with this device. This has got to be the best invention ever. Now I've got green peas to put on to sprout, then another batch of mung bean sprouts. My success with this Bear Bean Sprout Machine has opened up new horizons for my sprouting endeavors.

The only thing I wish were different is that there were a safety / waterproof cover over the plug outlet, as I worry one day I'll forget and pour the water out on that side. Hasn't happened. Hopefully, it never would. And also hopefully, if it did, drying it out before using it would be enough.

Overall, though, I *love* this machine. I hope to find something similar for sprouts that need light, but I'll also be trying this uncovered for alfalfa one day, I think.
