We have been using the Shark Vacuum for a number of years and we noticed that the hose had come apart just under the handle. I was going to try to take it apart and fix it, but I looked up the part on Amazon and the price was not too bad so I ordered it. It came quickly and was easy to plug in and replace the broken part. I love this vacuum, but it is lilac-colored. I rechecked my order, and I didn't order the color you sent, NAVY. So disappointed, but I need this today, so I am stuck. Good point: easy to switch out. Several reviews said the hose was a bit longer than others - I did not find that to be true. Its the normal length. Also, the plastic handle was not properly installed so we unscrewed it and put it to rights. That was annoying. I did receive the produce fairly quickly - although I live in a city with 2 Amazon warehouses, I do not get 2 day Prime delivery for some reason, but that's a knock on Amazon, not the seller.
