Set parking brake chock wheels.
Key in switch turn to run do not start.
Put gear selector in lowest setting.
Tilt wheel as low as it'll go. Grab dash panel and pull.
Unplug old switch and remove install new switch and plug in
Reassemble and crack an adult beverage it's that easy.
Fits like OEM and in my case fixed dome/map/ courtesy light staying lit and draining my batteries.
