The device was very well packaged in a small paper box with foam so the feeling when you open it was like you got an Apple product (well, almost :-)) The switch itself appeared to be good looking and well made. Installation was quick and easy including setup. I put it in a junction box with a DIN rail inside and a clear lid (see picture). The switch did not fit into any of my breaker boxes.
It c works seamlessly so far. It disconnects equipment instantaneously by pressing red button on the device or from the app. It takes some time for the app to display status of the switch (e.g. amperage/ power consumption etc). Since I use this switch for controlling and monitoring a lift station operation, I need to know whether my pump keeps running all time due to a faulty float switch or it turns on only periodically when level rises. And I can turn the pump off remotely if it keeps running non- stop. Nice!
An update as of 10/14/2022
Had to take one star out but still it is a good product after several months of operation.
Yesterday, the control panel in the Tuya App quit showing and recording power consumption (kWh) and current (A). Voltage displayed correctly and on/off red button in the App operated normal so there was no issue of WiFi connection of the breaker device and the App. I fixed the issue by resetting the device (by pressing the black button until it displayed "reset", then pushing the red button to confirm). Then I erased all the device recorded data in the App by selecting "disconnect and erase data". I reconnected the device and bingo - the App began to show and record power and amperage data from the device again. It is still a little bit alarming if you have to to these resets from time to time

Love it. I have on my hot water heater. It is saving me so much money.

Nothing to dislike! This thing is amazing! I setup timers and routines to use less power in the barns, and it turns off and on seamlessly each time. Great product!

I use this breaker to control my dumb 32A L2 EV charger to only charge during the night. Previously I had set up an electrical box with 4 different units: a breaker, a timer, a 50A contactor and a power meter. This unit replaces all that. As a bonus, I can control and monitor it remotely from my phone + see the energy usage history over time.

However, there is an issue that, while not critical in my use case, made me reduce 1 star. This unit is rated at 60A/250V, however at 32A/220V constant load the right side of the unit, where the current sensor is, heats up significantly enough to make me question the longevity of the internal solder joints. Note that this is about half the rated current, doubling to 60A will make almost 4 times more heat in the current shunt and might actually damage the unit (just my engineer intuition, I have no means of testing it at full capacity). It would be good if the manufacturer specified the continuous current rating separately from the max current rating. I'm mostly using the charger in 24A mode because in 95% cases it is enough to charge my vehicle overnight so this does not bother me personally, however buyer beware.

NOTE: I am NOT using it in the US, so the power line is 220V single phase. As another reviewer stated, this switch will NOT properly disconnect a split-phase 220-240v circuit.
