When these arrived I wasn't sure if they would have zippers on the side or not. Some pictures or reviews showed that there were inside zippers for easy on and off. Mine do not have zippers which is fine. Most importantly I did do a half size down but they are still roomy. I will definitely need to wear thicker socks with these. Otherwise they seem to be a quality item.

I literally never write reviews but these boots are such a great product. I recently wore them for a weekend in Acadia and they were outstanding. It rained maybe 60% of the time and not ONCE did my feet get wet or cold. Passing through rivers/puddles- nothing! Warm and dry the whole time. Not to mention they were wildly comfortable and the traction on the slippery rocks was awesome- I didn't slip once. Bonus, they're adorable 😂 steaaallll for the price!

TLDR; They are decent boot that will keep your feet pretty dry. These are best for casual hiking and I wouod suggest getting insoles for them.
I look these books out for the first time on a moderate hike up to Glen Ceader Campsite on Mt boldy on southern California. It ended up being around a 7 mile hike. It was a little raining and we had to walk through some small areas of moving water. To my suprize my feet stayed dry even with out me water proofing them. It was a moderate level hike with a couple of rocky areas but mostly even ground at the end I only had one small blister which I would consider a success since it was the first time wearing them. The next hike I took them on was the cougar Crestline trail which ended up being avoit 6.5 miles for use the terain was more rocky and I could definitely feel it Abita more on my feet but over all they held up. Since the soles seem to be on the thiner side I would recommend investing in some insoles if you are going more uneven trails.

I'm so so happy with these boots! I don't generally write reviews unless I'm really impressed"¦so I'm writing! I got the "winter blue" and the color is beautiful. They are really well made, not heavy duty hikers but an everyday kind of boot for cool weather and are a soft suede? material. I wore them the first time and it was pouring rain and I was worried about water spots but there were none. The inside is a velvety soft lining that is not bulky or too hot but feel cozy. I have a collapsed arch in my foot so have these little arch supports that I did add because on my feet they were too flat but I have to put these little guys in all of my sandals and shoes so expected I would in these as well. I worked 11 hours the first time wearing and I was comfortable all day. They are so cute with jeans and I got many compliments. I love shoes and boots and these are my new favorites! I highly recommend! I'm also in between sizes now because my arch fell and have fairly narrow feet, 8's are usually too big but 7's are usually too short so got the 7.5 and they fit perfect. Very pleased!
