First let me say I like this keyboard. The touch of the keys and swivel hinge are why I bought this keyboard. The cool backlit key disco colors were just icing on the cake. Unfortunately, the things I like most are falling apart, starting with the hinge.
I have had to deconstruct the case a few times to tighten the hinge up, Also, several of the nifty cool keys are no longer on the board. That being said, I have used this every day and beaten it pretty good, so take that with a grain of salt.
I do, however, find the software interface irritating. It is always present whether I sue the keyboard or not and often in the way.
I hope I can find something as functional but more durable.

The media could not be loaded. Just got it in today. Plugged it in and put in my IPad Air 2. Perfect fit. Keys feel really good. Track pad super responsive. The whole thing feels durable. I was wanting a laptop but decided to try this for cheaper. And I'm so happy with my purchase! Not sure how long the battery last but I def dont mind if it's not long lasting as long as I can plug it in.
It’s good BUT...

This is a $80 product which is not cheap so I am going to try to be as thorough as possible with this review as I feel that the current reviews are lacking insight. I am going to split this review into 3 sections: The Good, The Neutral, and The Bad. Keep in mind that as of the writing of this review, I have had the keyboard for only a few hours and will be updating this review in the future if something comes up.
The Good
-Pairing: The keyboard is easy to pair and connects pretty fast every time you turn it on.
-USB C: Charges through USB C which means you don't have to struggle when plugging it in.
-Keyboard: The characters show up instantly when typing so there's no need to worry about latency. There are also plenty of useful keys on the very top row which controls music, screen brightness, volume, etc.
-Hinge: Being able to rotate the screen is super useful when you want to write/draw something with the Apple Pencil and also for watching videos.
-Removable case: The ability to remove the rubber case which houses the iPad and Apple Pencil is really nice for those who don't want to carry around the added weight of the keyboard.
The Neutral
-Round keys: If you are a decent typist and you are familiar with the regular QWERTY keyboard layout, you wont have a problem adjusting to the keyboard.
-Trackpad: It has a clickable area on the bottom area which is split into a left click and a right click. The reason this is in the "Neutral" section and not the "Good" section is because there seems to be an issue where the cursor moves all over the place when typing but I have found that disabling the trackpad (Top row key) and making sure your palms don't touch the trackpad can help with this issue. Another thing that is annoying is that some of the gestures do not work. However, I'm hopeful that these issues are an IPadOS issues which can be resolved through software updates and not due to the design of the keyboard.
-Weight Distribution: The case will tip over if you adjust it at anything more than About 100 degrees in the "laptop" position but I cant really knock any points off because the only solution to this would be to increase the weight of the keyboard which would probably make it a burden to carry.
-Build Quality: It's okay but we'll have to see how it holds up over time.
The Bad
-Pen Holder: Seriously? This would not be an issue if the holder was place on the side of the iPad where the volume rockers are! This alone is making me knock the overall rating down to 4 stars. When you place the Apple Pencil in the holder, it blocks the power button which isn't a big deal when waking up the iPad but gets very annoying when trying to put it to sleep. This wouldn't be a big deal if the case had an automatic sleep/wake feature when closing it but it doesn't so if you have an Apple Pencil, be prepared to struggle.
I hope my Insights are helpful to those who are on the fence of buying this product.

This was better than I expected. I was looking for a lighter, easy on the go carry around laptop for work that was lighter than my Mac Pro; then I thought, hey"¦why not search for a keyboard that could turn my iPad Pro into a mini laptop. At a hefty price of close to $200 or more for apple keyboards, I searched and searched around. Until I finally decided on this one, and it's such a reasonable and affordable price without having to break the bank on an apple keyboard. It was easy to set up, charged fully after an hr or so, linked my Bluetooth to the keyboard, and voila. Did a test run by typing up some notes, the tracking works perfectly fine. The backlit keyboard colors are amazing. I havnt been able to put my iPad/keyboard down cause I was so excited to be able to actually convert it to a mini laptop and do all the necessary work I needed to on it. I don't have to carry my heavy MacBook Pro around anymore. And this fits perfectly into a small messenger bag. Oh, and the cover is super sturdy, and twisting it and turning it into different positions is with ease. Thank you"¦for both saving me money on having to purchase a new laptop.
Works great except where it bends to hold iPad in different angel don’t hold after 5 months of use.

Works great but after 5 months of use now it won't hold up iPad any longer. It came apart a little bit where it flexes so it just falls down. A bit pricy for only lasting 5 months. If you purchase this item get the insurance if it covers this problem
