Not much leather but its real and feels like sturdy working material. I'm new to leather working. For a beginner this seems a bit hard to work with being that its a bit thick. That is my problem for ordering this level of thickness. However the product is nice and will make a decent wallet or other leather project.

My now hard to find HP Laptop Case had these worn out leather veneer over cloth handles. The laptop case showed no other signs of significant wear, so I decided to try to replace these worn parts of the handle with real leather. This beautiful quality leather provided the perfect solution. Only minimal tools and some sewing skills with heavy waxed thread produced a really nice and comfortable handle that will bring more years of enjoyment to my daily travel companion for my laptop.

The media could not be loaded. I needed to make vest extenders for the side of my vest, since more layers in winter time is necessary on a motorcycle, and I didn't have any room to spare once zipped up. These sheets are very soft/flexible. I had no issue cutting or getting grommets into it. It held up very well during an 8 hour ride/2 day trip that included lots of rain, and I have zero concern that it will give me any issue going forward. It's not super shiny, so it doesn't look cheap to me. What I would consider the "inside" is soft; I'm unsure if it transfers color, since I wore it with dark clothes (my red shirt was fine). My vest is already very worn and broken in, so it's not concerning to me, but I can see how it would show marks easily, especially on brown"¦but I got black, so don't take my word for it.
