I ordered this for a graduation party since it was $100 to rent one anyway for $200 more I expected we would use this for more events, which we have. It uses regular ice cubes and is a strong and durable shaver. The box keeps the shaved ice cold for a while but is better if used right away (especially on very hot days). I purchased the Lucy's concentrated snow cone juice to go with it and found it to be a hit of the party!
