Our whole family, from ages 4 to 62, all use and enjoy this board. Our family and now friends have bought several, though not all the same brand. So what I will tell you about this brand is:
It is well priced. There is quite a range of prices and this one was very reasonable so I wasn't sure what the quality would be like. Now that I've seen and used it, I would say it is very good quality. The board is a very good thickness, heavy weight, not flimsy. The stopper rails on the bottom are easy to move. You can adjust them by hand and don't need a screw driver. The roller is padded so provides some resistance. There is a quality anti slip surface on the top.
One think I would recommend is starting on a longer pile carpet before going to a low pile or flat floor surface. The longer pile provides some resistance to the roller moving and it is easier to learn that way. I recommend this balance board.

I'm in the process of getting over some injuries that had me bed ridden for an extended period of time. I've been using this coupled with half balls and resistance bands to try and get some strength back into my legs and core before I move on to the gym with heavier stuff. This has been working out very well. I need to get back into shape for skiing, and this (and the half ball) designed to help with balance is just what I needed.

Both the board and roller are made well. I have no concerns about their quality, or longevity. The grip on the board is a nice touch. You can choose to install the stoppers, or not. In the end, this was just what I had been looking for. Highly recommended.

13 yo son wanted this for hockey development...he loves it. Great leg and core workout besides balance development.

My son plays high school hockey and uses this for balance and puck control at the same time, works great and he loves it.

The media could not be loaded. I have 2 kids in sports: one in basketball and one in swim. Both of their coaches have told them they need to strengthen their core so I got this because it seemed like a fun way to get some core work in without it feeling like a chore. They both use it all the time without really thinking about it. I have it in our living room where the tv is and they will randomly get on it while walking through the room or watching tv. I don't have to tell them, they just hop on and off throughout the day. It's almost like a fidget toy to them.

Note: it does come with 2 bumpers that help you adjust as you learn how to balance. They limit the range of motion of the board on the roller piece. There are 2 levels of bumper help before you have the full width of the board to work with. Eventually you will get to the point where you don't need the bumper. It took my kids about a week to fully remove them.
